MLM Marketing – How to Network Market in Today’s Economy
I his book, “The Business of the 21st Century”, Robert Kiyosaki wrote, “Today, network marketing is recognized by many experts and accomplished business people as one of the fastest-growing business models in the world.” There are a lot of reasons fore this.
- Low startup cost. The average brick and mortar business such as a franchise, may cost over $100,000 to get going. The profit does not immediately come right away either.
- Low overhead. No building to maintain. No employees in the beginning. You may want to outsource the repetitive tasks when you have a profit coming in.
- Set your own hours. You do not have a boss in network marketing. You are your own boss it’s up to you how much time you want to devote to building your business. It all depends on how badly you want it.
- The Ability to help others succeed. In the network marketing business model, you have the ability to build a large network of business owners who look up to you to help them to succeed in business and life and this can be a very rewarding thing. Both financially and personally.
There is, however some challenges in finding the right people who are interested in you and your opportunity.
There is a lot of rejection that people have to go through to build a large business. This is the way things were done in the beginning of the model back in the 1950′s.
The Amway business was the pioneer of this type of business. You made a list of names of people you thought might be interested in your business. Then you called them all and invited them to your home or a hotel meeting. This has worked for many people, don’t get me wrong.
The times have changed now and most people do their prospecting on the internet, because that’s where most people looking for a business opportunity are going.
One very successful home based business person who took this approach is Daegan Smith.
Daegan started his network marketing business taking the advice of his sponsor and bought cold leads and called them every day after work. After about 7 months and $7,000 on a credit card, he had no one in his business. So he decided to do things differently.
He took out a solo ad and the next day got 8 people to join his opportunity. The rest is history. He now runs a company called Maximum-Leverage Inner Circle.
He uses the principles of attraction marketing to accomplish maximum leverage.
Please watch this short video on more of the attraction marketing idea and how it can help you.
