The Internet is such a wonderful medium for getting your ideas out there in the world.  Making new friends and business acquaintances and prospects finding useful and helpful information, and so much more.

If you want any information, it's at your fingertips. Just type it in your favorite search engine and presto! You have a lot of information to choose from. A lot of the information is free of charge. Some, for more specific and targeted audiences, there is a small fee for the convenience of having everything right there to solve your problem quickly and easily.

If you have ever considered starting your own internet business, I would highly recommend getting into the information product seller business. There are many advantages to this business model.

First, there is no inventory to keep in stock. Your product is on your hard drive on your computer and backed up on a disk (hopefully :))

Secondly, you can make products for people on subjects that you already know how to do. What are your hobbies? What are you passionate about? Do you know a lot about something that a lot of other people don't? Do you see a problem that people have that you may be able to help solve? You can write an ebook, record yourself talking, do a teleseminar or webinar. Type in the google search what your topic is followed by forum. Start commenting on forums and establish yourself as an expert. People like to buy from people they know and trust. The internet is no different.

Thirdly, even if you do not have all the knowledge you need, that's not a problem either. You can find other people who do have the knowledge you need. Think of them as your future business partners instead of your competition.

You can do a series on "Interviews with the Experts". Find people who are also very knowledgeable in your field and ask if they will be willing to do an interview with you. Record it on Skype using the Pamela add on. There's a product that you both can use. Maybe your expert will promote the product to his list of subscribers for you for a precentage of the sales price. All you need is one good quality online marketer with a sizable list to get the ball rolling for you. If you have success with him or her, you can approach another and repeat the process.
